Visiting a new place can be a challenge. Sometimes it is the hardest part.  When you share a worship experience with us please be comforted in knowing that the warmth, Christ's love, and kindness will meet you at the door, ushering you into a rich worship experience.

Do I Need To Dress Up? 
Our focus is not on what you wear. Our focus is Jesus. We encourage you to wear what you have that would honor Him.

What if I’m not sure about Christianity? 
Perfect. That’s why we are here.  You can explore faith at your own pace.  The message is simple.  Our belief is not in religion, but in relationship. Worship with us, study with us, converse with us as we learn more about God and salvation together.   As a child comes into this world without knowledge, like a sponge he soaks up the lessons around him.  We encourage you to find out more!!!

What kind of church is Saint Paul AME Church? 
Our denomination is "African Methodist Episcopal." The Apostle's Creed is central to our beliefs. 

I believe in God,, the Father almighty, Maker of heaven and earth,
And in Jesus Christ, His only Son, our Lord,
Who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary,, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died and was buried;
On the third day he rose again from the dead;, he ascended into heaven,, and is seated at the right hand of God the Father almighty;
from thence he will come to judge the quick and the dead.

I believe in the Holy Spirit, The Church Universal
The communion of saints, The forgiveness of sins,
The resurrection of the body, And life everlasting. Amen.

What do you offer for my kids?
Children's ministry is central to the continued growth of the church.  We model our teachings by our lifestyle. Children have a special place in ministry because they serve as a model for how we are to love Christ.  We have Sunday School classes and children's messages offered each Sunday.
