Think about this:

  • If Jesus had camped out in Capernaum, he never would had made it to Jerusalem.
  • If He never made it to Jerusalem, He never would have been accused of treason.
  • If He had never been accused of treason, He would never been arrested on trumped up charges.
  • If He had never been arrested on trumped up charges, He never would have had to stand before Pilate.
  • If He had never had to stand before Pilate, He never would have been rejected by the crowd.
  • If He had never been rejected by the crowd, He never would have been sentenced to die.
  • If He had not been sentenced to die, He never would have had to carry a cross.
  • If He had never had to carry a cross, He never would have made it to Golgotha.
  • If He had not made it to Golgotha, He never would have been crucified.
  • If He had not been crucified, He never would have died.
  • If He had not died, they never would have had to lay him in Joseph’s tomb.
  • If He not been laid in Joseph’s tomb, there never would have been a resurrection.
  • If there had never been a resurrection, we would still be dead in our trespasses and sins.

But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through Jesus Christ. Because Jesus was loyal to the end, He got up with resurrecting power, and that same that got Jesus up from the grave is the same power that is at work in us! Make sure that your life does not end with "what ifs" resting in your soul.  Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us,   Ephesians 3:20.
