For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth on Him should not perish, but have everlasting life. John 3:16

It's not by accident that this is quite a popular verse within the Word of God. The gift of Jesus was the first "Christmas" gift. But there are three components to gift giving.

1. You must have a giver

2.  You must have a gift

3.  You must have a receiver

Gifts are given all of the time.  But what completes the process is for the person designated for the gift to receive the gift.  God gave the first Gift of the season, but have you reached out and received God's Gift?  Take a moment to think about that, then make sure you have received that Gift!
